The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has claimed that it is running out of food because of the closure of Gaza crossings by Israel. The government stopped allowing humanitarian shipments into Gaza earlier this week because of the rapid escalation in rocket and shooting attacks by Arab terrorists.
The crossings were supposed to be re-opened Thursday, despite continuing rocket fire, but the order was reversed following intelligence information that a terrorist attack was imminent. Terrorists often have struck at the crossings in order to force Israel to stop allowing shipments and then Israel is blamed for food and fuel shortages.
