President Shimon Peres is scheduled to pay a four-day visit to Britain beginning on Monday to mark 60 years of diplomatic ties with the country. He will meet with Queen Elizabeth, Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Prince Charles, government ministers and Opposition leader David Cameron.
He will be the first Israeli leader to address a joint session of the House of Lords and the House of Commons. The King's College of the University of London will grant President Peres an honorary doctorate degree.
