A Kassam rocket, fired by Gaza terrorists at Gaza belt Jewish communities, landed in an open area of the western Negev Thursday evening. The alert was first reported in the Tekumah area, east of Gaza.

Earlier in the evening, a Kassam landed in the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council area just south of the city of Ashkelon. No injuries or damage were reported in either attack.
