The dollar gained against the shekel in Thursday trading, closing at 3.928 shekels, an increase of 1.342 percent. The euro also closed higher against the Israeli currency, gaining .686 percent at 4.9204.
The pound sterling closed at 5.8541 shekels, a decline of 1.481 percent.
