The water level of the Dead Sea fell 16 centimeters in October - the same amount it fell in September.

The Dead Sea's water level is now 421 meters and 66 centimeters (nearly 4-1/2 lengths of an American football field) below sea level.

In the course of this year the water level has dropped 1.32 meters, Army Radio reports.
