A soldier was lightly wounded in or near his eye by Arab stone-throwers near Tekoa, southeast of Beit Lechem (Bethlehem).

Approximately 15 Arabs were throwing rocks at IDF troops. Troops retaliated with riot control equipment.

The soldier was treated on the scene and not evacuated to hospital.
