It will happen on Tuesday afternoon in Yated, a new community built from scratch in the Halutza Sands by Jews thrown out of their Gush Katif homes three years ago: A new state-of-the-art playground will be dedicated, thanks to a large donation by Milton Breslau.
Yated was originally populated three years ago by 25 families from the destroyed Gush Katif town of Atzmona. Since then, some 50 additional families have joined up, from Raanana, Jerusalem, Haifa, Eli and elsewhere.
Yated is located alongside its sister community of Yevul, due south of the former Gush Katif, in the western tip of the Negev.
