The Supersol supermarket chain has cut by 10 percent the price of bread items that have a fixed ceiling price. The action precedes an expected cut to be ordered by the Industry Trade and Labor Ministry due to a decline in world prices of wheat and energy.

Bread prices increased several times last year, and the last hike came in April.
