Several Israelis protested Thursday opposite the Egyptian embassy in Tel Aviv, demanding the release of Egyptian blogger Abdul Kareem Nabil. Nabil has served two years of a four-year sentence for criticizing Egypt's government.
The Tel Aviv protest was one of many held around the world on Thursday calling for Nabil's release. Protesters carried signs saying, “Blogging is not a crime,” and “Let my bloggers go.”
