Hamas spokesman Abu Obeida said Thursday that the terror group will fire rockets deep into Israel if Israel's army launches more strikes against Gaza, such as the one Tuesday night which destroyed a tunnel like the one Hamas used in the deadly raid that resulted in the abduction of Gilad Shalit.
Hamas has launched more than 50 mortars and Kassam rockets in response. Still, Hamas is believed to be interested in restoring calm, according to the Associated Press.
