Iran's parliament Tuesday voted to impeach Interior Minister Ali Kordan, a known ally of Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, because of Kordan's falsifying credentials, including a fake degree from the prestigious Oxford University in Britain.

The move is seen as perhaps the most daring taken, to date, by the Parliament against the president.
