The Palestinian Authority (PA) earlier this week closed a deal to join an electrical power grid that supplies seven Arab states. The PA might thus become less dependant on Israel for electricity, starting in about four years. It will likely take that long to install and connect the relevant infrastructure.
Currently PA Arabs in Gaza depend almost entirely on Israel Electric. In Judea and Samaria the PA depends on Israel for more than half of its electricity.
