IDF soldiers arrested eight Palestinian Authority Arabs suspected of involvement in terrorism on Monday night. One was arrested in Tulkarem, three in a village north of Ramallah, and four in the Bethlehem region. The detainees were questioned by security forces.
While armed PA troops have deployed in Bethlehem and other cities, Israel remains responsible for fighting terrorism in those areas, while the troops of the Fatah-led PA primarily fight crime.
