The Petach Tikvah Magistrate's court began hearing Wednesday the Remedia baby food case. Then-General Manager Gidon Lansberger and owner Moshe Miller are accused of negligently causing the deaths of two babies, and misleading consumers after essential nutrients were removed from Remedia's vegetarian baby formula.
A former senior official at the Health Ministry and four port inspectors are accused of negligence and actions likely to spread sickness.
