Palestinian Authority spokesman Riyadh al-Maliki accused Israel of murder over the weekend in connection with the deaths of three young would-be terrorists who were shot by IDF soldiers in recent days. The three were killed while attempting to firebomb Jewish communities.
Al-Maliki said the killings were “unjustified” and occurred “without pretext.” The fact that the attackers were shot proves that Israel engages in ethnic cleansing, he said. He slammed residents of the Jewish communities that were almost attacked, calling them “settlers” who “rarely miss an opportunity to attack unarmed Palestinians.”
In recent months Israel has allowed the PA to train and arm thousands of soldiers and deploy them in cities throughout Judea and Samaria. PA officials say the soldiers will be responsible for fighting terrorism and thwarting attacks on Jews.
