(IsraelNN.com) Dozens of activists blocked trucks from reaching Gaza on Sunday morning and demanded that the government do more to free kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit. “We blocked the entrance [to Gaza] and we're burning tires to make it clear to the world that we can't transfer money and food to the Palestinians without receiving even a tiny piece of information about Gilad,” organizers said.

Yoel Marshak of the kibbutz movement said activists would clear the road if drivers bringing food to Gaza would also bring letters to the families of terrorists imprisoned in Israel calling on them to pressure their leaders to exchange Shalit for terrorist prisoners.
