600 people participated in a memorial walk dedicated to Second Lt. Uri Binamo on Friday morning in his home town of Nesher, near Haifa.

Among those marching were members of youth movements, cadets from the IDF's Officer Training School and soldiers.

Second Lt. Binamo was killed during the Chanukah holiday in 2005, when he blocked two suicide bombers at a roadblock.
