At least two Gaza Arabs were killed in a smuggling tunnel between Gaza and Egypt on Friday afternoon. The two were killed when a gas canister exploded. Several other Gaza Arabs were injured in the blast.

Terrorists and smugglers have dug hundreds of tunnels from southern Gaza to the northern Sinai Peninsula in order to bring weapons and other contraband into Gaza. A tunnel operator recently told reporters from AFP that the ground in southern Gaza is “real Swiss cheese” and “if there were an earthquake, the whole lot would cave in.”
