Demonstraters in Akko called for Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter to resign, during a meeting he held with Mayor Shimon Lancry and members of the city council regarding Yom Kippur's violent riots between Jews and Arabs in the city.

Ynet says protesters chanted outside the building, "You have security, but we don't. Go home!"
