Rain, accompanied by thunder and hail, is expected in most of the country during the Sukkot holiday starting Monday night. The rain is supposed to start in the north on Shabbat, with the storm reaching its peak on the eve and first day of the weeklong holiday.
People are advised to make their sukkot booths especially sturdy. Hikers are advised to stay away from areas that are prone to flooding.
