Despite recent financial woes, businesses are buying more holiday gifts than ever before from stores promoting social activism, Nadav Atia said Tuesday. Atia heads the store “&Joy,” which employs adults with disabilities.

"&Joy” provided 30,000 holiday packages for various businesses, Atia said. The sales at “&Joy” and similar stores show that businesses are becoming more socially active, he said.
