Anonymous attackers defaced billboard supporting Jewish tourism in Judea and Samaria just days after the ads were put up as part of a new PR campaign. The activists spray-painted slogans in support of extreme-left professor Ze'ev Sternhell on some billboards, and sprayed the word “murderers” on others.
The head of the PR campaign, Yakir Segev, said he would file a complaint with police over the vandalism. He called on the public to respect the campaign even if they do not support the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria. The campaign aims to teach Jews about Jewish history, he said, not to promote any particular political stance.
