(IsraelNN.com) The State High Court Sunday ordered two people being held on suspicion of the murder Professor Dr. David Niv, to be released to house arrest due to lack of evidence.

The prosecution conceded before the court that no substantive progress had been made in the investigation. The court had already rejected a request by police to extend the remand of the suspects, but the police had appealed that decision. There were at least two more suspects held at an earlier point in the case.
