United States Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton Saturday described U.S. Republican presidential candidate John McCain as just a "mimic" of President George W. Bush, and not a "maverick". She charged that Sen. McCain only offers voters more of the same current administration.
Sen. Clinton spoke at a Human Rights Campaign dinner instead of U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's running mate Sen. Joe Biden, who did not appear because his mother was ill. Sen. Clinton attributed her statement to Sen. Biden. She told the audience that instead of sharing her own thoughts she would share the "eloquent remarks that Joe had prepared."
