Jewish Media Big Ad Winners in Presidential Race

American Jewish newspapers are the big winners in the president race as both the Democratic and Republic parties launch advertising campaigns. A full-page blue and white advertisement Friday by the National Jewish Democratic Council emphasized Sen. Barack Obama's backing of the Iran Sanctions Enabling Act of 2007 and his co-sponsoring of the Palestinian Anti-Terror Act.

The headline over the ad reads "A New Year, A New Direction."

The Republican Jewish Coalition has focused on attacking Obama's credentials and has alleged that many of his associates are "pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel, and even hostile to America." The party has made several vague allusions to Nazi Germany, and one commercial last month warned that "a naive and weak foreign policy has resulted in tragic outcomes for the Jewish people."
