Soldiers arrested four terrorists in Hevron and three others in Shechem in overnight operations. No one was injured in the counterterrorist maneuvers, and security and intelligence personnel are questioning the terrorists.
The operations in Shechem are continuing despite the deployment of Palestinian Authority (PA) armed policemen who have been trained by American army officers in an effort to prove that the PA is maintaining law and order. However, the policemen do not operate at night and generally restrict activities to arresting criminals and traffic offenders.
