(IsraelNN.com) Lawyers for former Kedumim mayor Daniella Weiss plan to ask a court in Kfar Saba Friday morning to release her and two nationalists arrested by police on charges of arson and obstructing justice. Police took them, along with Weiss's husband, into custody following a fire in an Arab olive orchard that broke out after police demolished the Shvut Ami community, which has been razed several times under government orders.

Her lawyers charged the police with arresting people who were not involved with the alleged violence and complained that the police illegally took away a vehicle near her home.
