Fall Back One Hour Sunday Morning
Israel reverts to "winter time," known as standard time in the United States, at 2 a.m. Sunday morning. It will remain in effect until the last Friday in March.
Winter time goes into effect every year on the last Sunday morning before Yom Kippur, which falls on Wednesday night and Thursday this year. The time difference between Israel and the East Coast of the United States will be six hours until the U.S. moves its clocks back in November.
