Arab Groups Seeks to Arrest Barak Reported: 20:26 PM - Oct/02/08
(IsraelNN.com) The Israeli-Arab group Adallah announced Thursday that it would seek to prosecute senior Israeli politicians and security officials abroad after failing to do so in Israel. The group will try to obtain international arrest orders for Defense Minister Ehud Barak, former Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami, and many others. Adallah is accusing Barak and the others of responsibility for the deaths of 13 Arab rioters who were shot and killed by police in October of 2000. Several investigations conducted in Israel have concluded that the rioters posed an immediate physical danger to police and civilians, and that the shootings were justified. However, Adallah and other Arab groups insist that those shot were innocent civilians. ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
