(IsraelNN.com) The Task Force for the Land of Israel presented the attorney general with a complaint against Professor Ze'ev Sternhell on Thursday for racist incitement, incitement to violence and slander against a community. The charges follow an interview in the Yediot Ahronot daily, in which Sternhell said, "I may be a red flag for the settlers - and I don't blame them. I consider them a disaster, and I think their approach is a prescription for the elimination of the Jewish State. In my eyes, settlement [of Judea and Samaria] is the greatest substantial threat to the future of the State of Israel."

The complaint says that wording calls for the persecution, humiliation, debasement, and the exposure of hatred, hostility, violence or causing confrontation directed at the "settlers" solely because they are Jews living in Judea and Samaria.
