Dell Computers has begun marketing its newest series of notebook computers to Israel. Worldwide the company has reported less demand for notebook/laptop configurations, but Dell Israel's manager Ra'anan Biber told Globes that Dell has grown this year and now holds the second place in combined sales of PCs, laptops and servers according to data provider IDC.
Two of Dell's latest offerings are ultra-light laptops/notebooks. One weighs only 2.2 pounds (1 kilogram) despite boasting a 12.1 inch screen.
