Samarian regional council director Gershon Messika told local leaders that virtually every community in the region is actively building and that more than 300 building permits have been signed, more than last year's total.

The Council of Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria also said that homeowners can receive a 70,000 shekel ($20,500) loan for expanding their houses. Messika also stated that bicycle paths are being paved and roads are being improved.
