State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss has been asked by the Knesset State Control Committee to investigate the issue of renewed aliyah from Ethiopia, it was announced Tuesday.

The assignment came in the wake of a High Court recommendation that the government re-evaluate the eligibility of the Falashmura community in Ethiopia to immigrate to Israel.
