Apple has opened a branch in Israel. Apple's Israeli importer, iDigital, now sells Apple computers and related products in a 300 square meter store in the posh Ramat Aviv mall in northern Tel Aviv.
Due to criticism over drastically higher prices than those to be found abroad, iDigital has reduced prices on most products by 10-34 percent. While the coveted iPhone is not yet available in Israel, iDigital representatives say it will be on the market soon.
iDigital plans to open another Apple store in Tel Aviv's Dizengoff Center in 2009.
