(IsraelNN.com) PokeTalk, a new service by Israeli company Parrot-Media will now offer free international telephone calls in return for exposure to advertising.  The free phone calls can be made from any existing landline or mobile phone, to any other phone, locally and internationally. The service does not require headsets or software downloads, and no fees are charged.

The PokeTalk service subsidizes the phone calls by displaying targeted advertising on the screen during the call, tailored to the caller's profile.

Parrot-Media's C.E.O., Tamir Galili, says the communications business has to focus on 'freemium' models in today's market.
