A Torah scroll in honor of Jonathan Pollard is to be welcomed into the Zayit Raanan synagogue in Efrat, in Gush Etzion, next Thursday evening, September 25.

David and Tanya Cohen are donating the scroll, which survived the Holocaust in Europe and has been with the family until now. Esther Pollard, whose husband is serving an unprecedented life term in an American prison for passing to Israel classified documents, is scheduled to attend the ceremony.
