The IDF announced Wednesday that the Halhoul Bridge (also known as HaZayit Passage) on the road between Hevron and Tarkumiya is open for PA private cars. Last week the bridge was opened for PA trucks.

The IDF says the move is part of the series of steps being taken in the past few months to ease the lives of the Arabs in Judea and Samaria.

In June, 10 dirt roadblocks were removed in the Mount Hevron area.
