Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas will meet Tuesday without their senior advisors and will discuss the status of Jerusalem, PA sources said. Israel has maintained that the fate of the capital has not been up for negotiation despite repeated contrary statements by the PA.

Prime Minister Olmert has warned that a deal with the PA must be reached as soon as possible or else "we may regret it in the future."
