Sixty-five percent of Israelis live in apartments and 35 percent live in semi-detached and private houses, according to a survey by Heker Rating Marketing Research.
The highest percentage of apartment dwellers is in the greater Tel Aviv region (80 percent) and the lowest in the Sharon region (45 percent).
Of Israelis who live in apartments, 37 percent live in two-room flats, 14 percent in three rooms, and 31 percent live in four-room dwellings.
