Interior Minister Meir Sheetrit approved the appointment of Maj.-Gen (res.) Yusef Mishleb to head the Haifa District in the Interior Ministry.

"I will use all of power to bring people from the different sectors into key positions in government offices," Sheetrit vowed Sunday.

Mishleb was the first Druze major-general in the IDF.
