Iraqi MP Mithal al-Alusi, leader of the Democratic Party of the Iraqi Nation, DPIN, surprised the audience at the Herzliya conference with an unscheduled speech Wednesday. Alusi called for establishment of diplomatic relations between Iraq and Israel and for intelligence cooperation between Israel and other countries in the region.
Alusi denounced Iran for "constantly interfering" in Iraqi affairs.
