Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has called a special meeting on Wednesday for a discussion with senior Cabinet ministers on Iran's nuclear development program. The office of the Prime Minister downplayed the meeting, saying procedures are "business as usual."

However, the meeting is to take place immediately following reports that Iran is in the final stages of completing its Bushehr nuclear plant on the southwest coast of Iran. Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak will be present at the discussion, and the Defense Minister also will meet with American military Middle East envoy General James Jones.
