Iran Protests to United Nations over Eitan's Threat

(IsraelNN.com) Iran has protested to the United Nations over Pensioners Affairs Minister Rafi Eitan's threat that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad could be kidnapped. He made the comment in an interview with the German Der Spiegel newspaper. Iran's ambassador to the U.N. also objected to Defense Minister Ehud Barak's previous threat to use military force to stop Iran from becoming a nuclear power.

Ahmadinejad previously has stated that Israel should be wiped off the face of the map.
