Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders have met in Syria to discuss recently violent clashes between the two terrorist groups in Gaza. Hamas police two days ago used force to disperse a rally by a teachers union aligned with Islamic Jihad.
In a joint statement, the two groups said they held a lengthy meeting in Damascus on their "strategic relations" and that recent events will not affect relations.
