A Tel Aviv University poll reveals that 61 percent of Israeli Jews have a negative image of the Middle East. The survey was carried out by the Center for Peace Research at the university.

The poll's orientation was indicated by another question, to which 71 percent responded that they feel Israel will not be able to integrate politically with the rest of the region.  A majority of Israeli Arabs were more positive about the Middle East.
