Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas met with King Abdullah II in Jordan on Sunday to discuss ongoing negotiations with Israel. Abbas told his host that he understands that the final status plan for a new Arab state within Israel's current orders must be made in consideration of the opinions of the entire world.

They also spoke about excavations at the Temple Mount site, which Arabs claim is aimed at undermining the foundations of the Al Aqsa mosque.
