Dead Silence for Olmert's Kadima Promo to Olim

More than 235 new immigrants interrupted Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's welcoming speech at Ben Gurion airport with applause several times Monday morning, but there was a dead silence when he tried to promote his Kadima party. "Kadima is going to continue to lead the country," he told the crowd.

The party faces new leadership elections next week, and police Sunday recommended to Attorney General Menachem Mazuz that Olmert be indicted for criminal charges.
