A meeting led by the Head of the Intelligence and Investigations Unit, Major-General Yohanan Danino, in which police team heads discussed the option of filing an indictment against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on the cases against him, ended Sunday afternoon.
The police met to determine whether to indict Israel's premier over the Talansky cash-envelopes affair, the Rishon Tours affair, and the Investment Center affair, in which, Olmert allegedly granted large state investment funds to a company which his friend and former law partner Uri Messer had been hired to represent.
The investigative team is expected to meet with Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen before the decision is made public.
