An Egyptian billionaire legislator has been charged in the July 28 stabbing death of pop idol Suzanne Tamim, Sky News of Britain reported. Heshaam Talaat Moustafa allegedly hired murderers, who slit her throat in her luxury apartment in Dubai.
The indictment charged that Moustafa's intentions may have been revenge, but no further details were listed. Arab newspapers said that the singer was romantically involved with the tycoon legislator, who is married and has three children.
Egypt last month censored reporting on the arrests.
