Holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel said he is waiting for television debates between the two American presidential candidates before deciding which one to endorse. "First of all in the United States, the vote is secret. But to be honest, I need to know better the two candidates in order to judge them and make my mind," he told the European Jewish Press.
He also said that he is optimistic that there will be peace in the Middle East and that the real conflict is not between Israelis and Arabs but "between the Palestinians themselves."
